Novel Applications of AI – Beyond AI Scribe
This short snapper session will explore practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) to address key operational and clinical challenges in healthcare. Participants will examine how AI can be leveraged to improve data interoperability between systems, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange to support coordinated patient care. The session will also discuss AI-driven solutions that automate front-office and reception workflows, reducing administrative burden. In addition, attendees will learn how AI Agents can streamline the data capturing process, eliminate the need for manual form completion and enhance efficiency and the patient experience.

Presenter Bios:
Amaan Rattansi
Amaan is a Toronto-based technologist and serial entrepreneur with 15 years of experience turning complex ideas into market-ready products at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and fintech. He is the Co-Founder of Scribeberry, where he leads product strategy for an AI-powered clinical documentation platform used by physicians across Canada, and the long-time CTO of Medfair, a wholesale marketplace that streamlines medical-supply procurement for rehab and orthotics clinics. Prior to launching his own ventures, Amaan shaped user-centric solutions as a Senior Product Designer at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange and ATB Financial, and drove next-generation industrial automation initiatives as a UX Design Technologist at GE Digital. He holds a MicroMasters in Logistics and Supply Chain from MIT and an honours degree in Applied Economics & Media Design from McMaster University, and remains passionate about mentoring teams and championing technology that improves patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
