Cynthia MacWilliam, Executive Director Client Services and Engagement, OntarioMD
Cynthia has been Executive Director, Client Services and Engagement of OntarioMD (OMD) since 2017. In this capacity, Cynthia leads OMD’s field team members and OMD Peer Leaders in their ongoing and varied supports to community-based physician practices. She has over 25 years of experience working in health care and with physicians specifically on how to maximize use of digital health tools within their practice for the collective benefit of provider and patient .

Dahlia Balaban, MD, OntarioMD Physician Peer Leader
Dr. Dahlia Balaban is a Family Physician in North York with active licenses in Ontario and Northwest Territories. She is the Lead Physician and former IT Lead for the North York FHO, part of the North York Family Health Team, and Continuing Medical Education Lead for the Department of Family Medicine at North York General Hospital. She practices comprehensive ambulatory Family Medicine with the addition of low-risk Obstetrics, Surgical Assisting, Hospitalist Medicine and home-based Palliative Care. While she co-runs a primary care practice in North York, she also enjoys working as a locum in more rural settings. She is a lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and teaches clinical medicine at the Undergraduate and Resident levels. She is passionate about workflow optimization and finding ways for technology to make her life as a physician easier and more efficient.

Chandi Chandrasena, MD, CCFP, FCFP. Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Chandrasena joined OntarioMD (OMD) as its Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in 2021. She is a family physician practicing in Ottawa for almost 20 years and a former OMD Physician Peer Leader who has mentored many of her colleagues to use EMRs and digital health tools effectively to enhance patient care. As CMO, she provides clinical advice at provincial and national tables and clinician advisory groups and is instrumental in forging system-level partnerships.
