This session/workshop provides an overview of how to use AI for each part of the family medicine workflow using Pippen, the AI-Powered Physician Assistant.
Objectives:
- To explain what AI is and its diverse application to reducing burden in family practice.
- To provide a hands-on demonstration of Pippen, the AI-Powered Physician Assistant.
- To demonstrate how to get support with the use of AI and how to remain informed about AI developments.

AJ Kadhim-Saleh, MD CCFP
Amjed Kadhim-Saleh is a community family physician, clinic owner, and health technology entrepreneur in Toronto. Amjed Kadhim-Saleh graduated medical school from the University of Ottawa and completed his family medicine residency at the University of Toronto. Serving a diverse population of over 1700 patients, Amjed Kadhim-Saleh is passionate about comprehensive family medicine, building an efficient practice, and improving health for all. Recently, AJ developed an AI-powered Physician Assistant called Pippen, which aims to alleviate administrative burden among physicians and encourage better doctor-patient interactions. Amjed Kadhim-Saleh is also a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Toronto.
