Canada Health Infoway – Digital Health, Virtual Care, Connected Care – Transforming Health Care for the 21st century

Participants will learn about the trends in digital health in Canada, as we transition out of the worst days of the pandemic. Where are we now with regard to virtual care ? What are some of the current technology-related challenges confronting clinicians ? How can enhancing connected care improve the patient and clinician experience ? Why should enhancing health data exchange standards matter to clinicians and health systems? This high-level national overview will include examples that provide hope for a more digitally connected near future state in health care.

Dr. Rashaad Bhyat serves as Clinician Leader on the Engagement team at Canada Health Infoway. He is a family physician with a passion for digital health and currently practices in an EMR-enabled family medicine clinic in the Greater Toronto Area.
